about ME
Hello! My name is Colton French, and this is to represent work I have done through styling and assisting stylists. I am currently based in New York and working as a freelance stylist. Recent highlights includes my work being featured for French Fries magazine. My main experience includes being an assistant stylist for Madewell in their editorial and PDP imagery. I’ve also assisted in editorial work for publications like Vogue Espana, Vogue Ukraine, and Blanc Magazine.
In talking about my main inspirations since that is more fun to mention and read, I get inspired by a variety of different influences. More traditional ones being Grey Gardens and Lana Del Rey and weird ones including abandoned moto shops in midwest America and cheesy, reality TV from the early 2000s. Plus I love to look at the zeitgeist and observe what the girlies believe is cool even if I don’t particularly agree.
